Teamwork —— a story about LGBT and love

Uncategorized

I am very happy to form a team with my friends. The theme of our project is about the LGBT community and their marital problems. At first, I wanted to do this project because there are many homosexuals around me, and there are also my friends. Some of them are discriminated against and some are troubled by marriage. And as an ordinary person, I want to do something for them. However, after many investigations into this project, the results show that in countries where gay marriage is illegal in the world, the marriage of gay people does face enormous pressure on life.So we decided to plan an exhibition about LGBT and touring around the world, hoping to attract more people around the world to pay attention to this part of the population. We also know that our exhibition may not change the status quo of society, but we hope to express our inner feelings through our own efforts.

Some illustrations and ideas about LGBT are on my sketchbook.

Regarding my personal thoughts, in addition to the two sexes, there are lgbt in the world, everyone is the same.

Personally, social progress is always moving in the direction of human rights.
Because the group’s smallness ignores the human rights of this group of people, such a nation is backward and not civilized.LGBT is also a normal person, they have the right to choose the person they love.

Brainstorming

My teammates are very serious and often come up with new ideas. Everyone is very enthusiastic. Through this teamwork, I found that teamwork is a good platform for learning from each other. Teams working together can brainstorm ideas, and the level of thinking and direction is different, so that better solutions can be obtained.

Finally, I want to say that when you come to the world, you have to look at the sun and walk with you on the street with your sweetheart.

About the artist Ansel Kiefer

Uncategorized

Today I want to introduce you a new expressionist artist.

——Anselm Kiefer.

Ansel Kiefer

A few days ago, I saw a sentence that left a deep impression on me on my facebook. What surprised me is that the person who said this sentence is the artist I am going to introduce today.I want to know why did he have such feelings about art.So I searched the Internet for a lot of information about him.

The artist’s studio is located in Barjac, southeast of France.

Kiefer is a German painter and sculptor. It was really interesting because a large number of different materials and elements have been used in his paintings.Such as straw, ash, clay, lead and shellac. These elements make his paintings more vivid and three-dimensional, while at the same time containing more symbolic meanings.I think it turned out really well, Because I found some inspiration about my future work. Like Kiefer, in my photography, i can also use a combination of different elements to create. And I think that the photographic works are not necessarily flat, but they can also be “thick”.

Working Title: Bohemia Lies by the Sea Department: Nineteenth-Century, Modern, and Contemporary (1996)

Kiefer was born in the year of Germany’s defeat. The theme of Nazi rule is particularly reflected in his works. He worked hard to face the horrors of the Nazi period and the history, culture and mythology of Germany, and hoped to heal the German idealism and help its revival. This makes me think that I should be steadfast in my willingness to face my past and firmly believe in my unrealized potential and have confidence in the future. His work and personal experience have deeply influenced me. From now on,I’m going to continue to reflect on myself, and think about the problem in many different ways. And in my future photography, try to create with a variety of different materials like him.

Some sentiments, some records

  • “Art is cynical, it shows the negativity of the world, it’s the first condemnation.”
  • “For me ideas aren‘t up in the sky and materials down in the earth. Materials have a spirit that is evoked by the physical presence, which can be accessed and opened up.”
  • “For me, art is the only possibility to establish a connection between things that make no sense and those that have a meaning.”
  • “I will dig tunnels in the garden, put the drawings in to bury them. You can see something bigger in Baljac . I will buld a small house with bricks in the building. People think the ruins are some The end of things, but for me, they are the beginning. When you have ruins, you can start again.”

My first week in the UK

On the town of Farnham
Every day you live is a special day~

On August 3, 2019, the first day I came to the UK.my school is located in the southwest of London, where there is a historic town——Farnham, which is also the first stop of my wonderful study abroad trip.
The whole town is full of rich artistic atmosphere, and art galleries, handicrafts and a variety of foods will instantly surround me. People here may prefer the sun, and even I can’t wait to get in touch with the sun. The noon sun is swaying on the grass, and a large piece of film covers my skin, bright and warm. In the evening, the sun was willing to put up a warm smile.

The streets of Farnham

The days of schooling soon came. I left home for the first time and lived 5,414.71 miles from my parents. But fortunately,I have made many new friends here. The teachers here are also very friendly, which brings me to the future of learning and life. More confidence.
The learning atmosphere in the classroom is very harmonious. I can record any new knowledge or new ideas I have learned in my notebook. Through daily study, I gradually change my thinking mode. I think this is very helpful in improving my ability to think independently.

Small records in class

On a quiet afternoon on Wednesday, I took a train with a few friends to get to our BRP card in Guildford, which is a busy city compared to Farnham. The crowds on the street come and go, and there are many roads along the road. Mall and bookstore.

Brighton’s beach

On August 9th, our group took the bus from the school to the famous seaside city of Brighton, where there was a cobblestone beach, and the summer sun was sprinkled on the sea, sparkling… .. along the coastline you can see amusement parks built on the sea, carousels, large roller coasters and a wide variety of rides.

I am also impressed by the Brighton Museum, which collects a large collection of 20th-century Brighton art and design, telling the history of Brighton, regional culture, how the city has developed into a fashion capital, the capital of LGBT. After the visit, I learned a little more about the city.

Stone with strange signs

I walked along the beach and suddenly I found a stone with a special mark. I guess the painting on it might be the abbreviation of two people’s names.

This week is a wonderful and fulfilling week for me, I have begun to look forward to tomorrow…

I think that the time of the year has brought me the greatest gains, not only learning but also growing up.
